Jimmy Gorecki’s Standard Issue Tees Drops Latest Summer Capsule – Serialpressit (News)

Jimmy Gorecki‘s Standard Issue Tees is back with a new summer capsule, consisting of tie-dyed “slacker pants” and three matching tee/short sets. Following in the footsteps of a camo-coated collection that dropped at the top of the month, these new offerings from the California-based basics manufacturer aim to provide high quality wardrobe staples with a little bit of unique flair.

A cross between chinos and track pants, the “Slacker Pant” is built of 11oz cotton and dressed up in bold teal, blue and red tie-dye, a Gorecki signature that’s been worked into Standard Issue and JSP collections since 2013. The fit is loose, with cropped hems and and adjustable waist. Meanwhile, tee and short sets are presented in “Concrete,” “Suede” and “Cream.” Tees are garment dyed and built from 10oz ringspun cotton, while shorts are constructed from sturdy 24oz French terry. All pieces are made from start to finish at Standard Issue’s Vernon, California factory.

“After the first [COVID-19 coronavirus] stay home order when we were only allowed to make masks, we were put in a position where we had to come up with new items weekly,” Gorecki states candidly. “However, we realized this was in fact where we strive from a product standpoint.”

The “Slacker” pants and all three tee/short sets are available now on the Standard Issue Tees webstore. Pants are priced at $90 USD, shorts at $80 USD and tees at $30 USD.
