BEAUTY & YOUTH has teamed up with adidas for a clean iteration of the classic Stan Smith silhouette. Dressed in a soft, harbor gray tone, BEAUTY & YOUTH’s sartorial design lens has lent way for a smartly nuanced style of the timeless tennis shoe.
Captured under a warm golden-hour haze, the Japanese label imaged a concise lookbook, highlighting a number of clean outfits the shoes can be worn with. The label decided to bring out the crisp shade of the sneakers by pairing them with breezy summer fits, like thin white polos, sweatpants, collegiate blazers, rugby shirts, waffle-knit sweaters and linen button-ups, to name a few.
Styled with white tube socks, the shoes come with a smooth patent finish, complemented by contrasting white laces and a light ivory-toned heel counter that pops out from the shoe’s darker uppers. As a final touch, adidas’ Stan Smith logo is stamped at the tongue, followed by perforated Three Stripes branding and “Stan Smith” embossment at the sidewalls — all resting under a flat, tonal court-friendly midsole.
The BEAUTY & YOUTH x adidas Stan Smith is currently available on BEAUTY & YOUTH’s website for $138 USD.
