Airplane hits signal JFK, “struck an object upon departure.”.
It was a scare within the air for some passengers taking off from JFK Airport Wednesday night time.
American Airways says Flight 300 from New York Metropolis to Los Angeles “struck an object upon departure.” The Port Authority says the aircraft hit an indication alongside the runway because it was taking off at round 8:30 p.m.
A photograph taken from the aircraft’s window shared with Information four by Melanie Whitaker exhibits the aircraft’s wing broken.
The aircraft then circled again to the gate. There have been 101 passengers and eight crew members onboard and no accidents have been reported, American Airways mentioned.
