It was a scare within the air for some passengers taking off from JFK Airport Wednesday night time.

American Airways says Flight 300 from New York Metropolis to Los Angeles “struck an object upon departure.” The Port Authority says the aircraft hit an indication alongside the runway because it was taking off at round 8:30 p.m.
