Former Southern College Cornerback Devon Gales is heading again to the soccer discipline nearly 4 years after he was paralyzed throughout a recreation.
Gales might be on the sidelines of the soccer discipline as an assistant coach for the Jefferson Excessive College Dragons in Jefferson, Georgia.
This system introduced the hiring of Gales in a tweet on March 18.
Jefferson Excessive Soccer head coach Gene Cathcart instructed AccessWDUN that it was faculty superintendent Dr. John Jackson’s concept to supply Gales the job after Gales gave a motivational speech to college students at Jefferson Excessive College.
Gales was injured and subsequently paralyzed throughout a kickoff return throughout a 2015 recreation towards the College of Georgia.
Within the shifting speech at Jefferson Excessive College, Gales spoke of the brotherhood he has with former Georgia kicker Marshall Morgan, with whom he collided with on the play that left him paralyzed.
